PIL Boot Camp—The Next Level
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Procurement Innovation Lab (PIL) will host a virtual PIL Boot Camp—The Next Level on November 20, 2024, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. I/ITSEC 2024
The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is the world's largest modeling, simulation and training event. Held near the beginning of December in Orlando, Florida, USA, I/ITSEC consists of peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, special events, professional workshops, a commercial exhibit hall, a serious games competition, and STEM events for teachers and secondary students. I/ITSEC is organized and sponsored by the National Training & Simulation Association (NTSA), which promotes international and interdisciplinary cooperation within the fields of modeling and simulation (M&S), training, education, analysis, and related disciplines at this annual meeting. The NTSA is an affiliate subsidiary of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). Hence, I/ITSEC also emphasizes themes related to defense and security.
All activities of I/ITSEC 2024 will be held in the SOUTH Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center or in the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

2nd Annual Small Business Summit: Accelerating Veteran Small Business Success at USDOT
In observance of Veteran’s Day, the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) will host its 2nd Annual Small Business Summit: Accelerating Veteran Small Business Success at USDOT on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The purpose of this day-long, in-person event is to celebrate and recognize our veteran small business owners and their service to this great nation. The event will have various sessions focused on contract opportunities for small businesses, small business subcontracting, certifications and goals for veteran owned small businesses (VOSB), and access to capital.
The first half of the day will include panel sessions with subject matter experts on how to do business with USDOT, best practices for federal contracting, and how to increase SDVOSB utilization. The remaining half of the event will be dedicated to one-on-one business matchmaking via our Connections MarketPlace (CMP) platform, an interactive Business Expo, and Access to Capital roundtable sessions.

U.S. Department of Labor Cybersecurity Day
The DOL Cybersecurity Awareness event is part of the agency's month-long 2024 Cybersecurity Awareness Month Training for agency employees. USDA Cybersecurity Expo
